I teach strategic management at the University of Illinois, Gies College of Business. My courses examine how firms create and capture economic value, and how strategic positioning, resources and capabilities, and organizational structure facilitate or constrain those processes.

BADM 449 is the senior capstone course in strategic management that develops students' skills at understanding how firms create and capture economic value, identifying sources of sustainable competitive advantage, and analyzing strategic business situations.
